Suggested program improvements below:

1) To be able to output 10 bit encodes. Any serious encoder uses 10 bit instead of 8 bit.
2) Suggested higher bitrates for the standard video profiles. 1500 is too low.
3) For video framerate. To be able to choose 'same as source'.
4) To be able to output the audio to formats like AC3.
5) To be able to select 'passthrough' for the audio'.
6) Standard higher bitrates for the audio profiles 320kbps for the audio might be too low. 448/640/768 or the like should be available.
8) A form of noise reduction (temporal, spatial, grain removal) in the main converter window. Currently you have to go to Toolbox, output the video, then go to converter & add it back in. I'd much rather be able to do it in a single step.
9) A video sharpening option in the Encoder window.
10) Eventually an Advanced option to allow the user to do things like set B-Frames & stuff like that.
11) To drag & drop video files into the program rather than having to press +.
